We have so much going on in the Pearl! We’ve already covered this month’s upcoming art events and thought we'd add a few more things to look forward to this month.
Brix Tavern: Open on the 4th of July
Brix Tavern is open tomorrow for a special Independence Day celebration! Stop by for food and drink specials, including fabulous bbq and summer cocktails!

The Pearl District Beer and Arts Festival hosts over 20 participating local breweries! Sample beers and listen to live music while enjoying Portland’s gorgeous parks! Tickets are $35 for one day or $50 for the whole weekend. Proceeds from ticket sales are donated to SOLVE (Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism), a nonprofit dedicated to bettering the natural beauty of our state.
The 5th annual US React Native Conference returns to Portland!
Over 400 developers, entrepreneurs, and React Native enthusiasts will gather at the Armory! There will be nearly two dozen speakers over the two days, catered food, and first-rate native companies!

Jazz! In the Square
Pull up a chair or a blanket, bring your own beverage, and get ready to be transported by the powerful vocals of Andy Stokes, organist "King Louie," saxophonist Gary Harris, and drummer Edwin Coleman III for an evening of soul, blues, and jazz. This is an evening in the park you won’t want to miss!

Improv is an excellent tool for building social and public speaking skills! This 18+ class isn’t just a lot of fun, but is an excellent resume booster! Through fun games, group building, and collective storytelling, these sessions will teach the basics of improv, regardless of experience. Email education@pcs.org for inquiries!
