Tenant Spotlight: L’Mu Salon

The Perfect Place to Pamper Your Face

Pearl District Portfolio Community Connections is thrilled to highlight our tenant, local skincare, and beauty expert Sheila McCoy, owner of L'Mu Salon.

L'Mu is a local skincare salon located in the Maytag Building, 1136 NW Hoyt St, Suite 260, in the heart of the Pearl District. Sheila loves being a part of the Pearl District community and, as a long-time small business located in the neighborhood (almost two-decades), she’s witnessed the Pearl's transformation in real-time.

L'Mu is, in Sheila's words, "an acronym (kind of) that means Let's Make up." Sheila practices a philosophy of Forgiveness at L'Mu. Her salon is a safe place for clients to leave any judgment on appearance while allowing themselves to be pampered - self-care at its best!

The L'Mu experience is about the beauty of Giving and Receiving - the two essential components of Forgiveness.

- Sheila McCoy, Owner L’Mu Salon

L’Mu Salon offers well over a dozen treatments and services. Sheila uses highly specialized medical and botanical products hand-picked for the patient’s skin. Her goal is, always, “the greatest outcome” for her clients.

Sheila believes when granting someone the opportunity to help you take care of your skin/makeup concerns; it allows For-Giving; giving up the feelings that keep you from reaching your beauty goals. The frustrating feelings fumbling with fake eyelashes or the uncertainty of why or which SPF you should use (Sheila’s definition of SPF is the Self Protecting Factor).

L'Mu has various treatments, including facials, waxing, and micro-current; the last of which is now trending for facial rejuvenation. Dermaplaning is most requested for exfoliation. "New clients," Sheila said, "are surprised by the results after just one treatment."

“My Virtue is Patience” - Sheila

Sheila enthusiastically and skillfully works towards the most remarkable outcome for her clients. She adapts her treatments to meet her client's needs. She’s skin intuitive, with natural insight into the optimal result for her clients and the expert training by leaders in the aesthetic industry.
