The First Thursday Street Gallery is Back!
Urban Art Network First Thursday Steet Gallery
The season’s First Thursday Street Gallery is tomorrow. It’s the 24th year of the Pearl District’s signature event, which showcases original, hand-made artwork by local area artists and is organized by artists.
Date: Every First Thursday, Apr. 4 - Thursday, Oct. 3
Time: 5 pm – 9 pm
First Thursday Highlight - Gallery 114
Galleries and businesses open for new exhibitions on the first Thursday of each month. Check The Portland Art Dealers Association for a list of venues, and enjoy!
Gallery 114 is one of the oldest art collectives on the West Coast. It is artist-owned and artist-run and located in the heart of the Pearl District.
This month, Gallery 114 is hosting Who We Are—Characteristics of Human Diversity, an exhibition by artist Donald Dahlke. Check out the website for details.

J. Pepin Gallery is hosting a reading and Q&A with Willa Schneberg, featuring her latest book, The Naked Room.

Earth Day 2024 Details: Celebrate Earth Day with your neighborhood volunteers! Come make a difference in your neighborhood! PDNA will provide the trash grabbers and bags if you do not have one. We will have leaders of groups for different areas of the Pearl District’s 120 blocks. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you don’t have a waiver on file with the PDNA Clean Team or Foot Patrol. Pick up with end at noon. There will be sandwiches and a drink at the Fields Grill for volunteers. Contact Judie Dunken judie@thedunkengroup.com for questions.
