Jazz in the Square Recap
A Soulful Community Celebration in the Heart of the Pearl District.
Jazz in the Square is a vibrant celebration of community, music, and enjoyment, orchestrated by one of the 95 neighborhood associations and City of Portland to reignite the vibrant energy throughout the Pearl District.
This dynamic event is brought to life through the dedicated efforts of volunteers from the Pearl District Neighborhood Association, in collaboration with Portland Parks and Recreation: Summer Free for All - Cultural Events Portland and Northwest Community Conservancy (NWCC).
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Andy Stokes, Gary Harris, and Edwin Coleman III for delivering an unforgettable evening of soul, blues, and jazz.
Additionally, a special thanks to Erandi Jones-Vega, the talented social media specialist from Meadowlark, and Gloria Feinstein for capturing the magic with their stunning photos showcasing essence of this event.

Portland’s Original Creative District
We are committed to ensuring this mixed-use district continues to function as a vibrant center of art and culture, urban housing, and creativity. Through the adaptive reuse of our eight distinct buildings, we continue to honor the Pearl District's history while providing a range of spaces unique and unequaled in Portland.
The Pearl District Portfolio is proud to participate in the NW Community Conservancy's (NWCC) humanitarian and security initiative to enhance safety and livability for all who live, work, learn, and play in our neighborhood.
