SEXTET: Queer Pop-Up Exhibition
We’re thrilled to announce Sextet: Queer Pop-Up Exhibition, a fabulous art show in the Pearl District Portfolio’s Maddox Building! The exhibition runs from Friday, February 23, through March 24 and features artists Daniel Peabody, David Eckard, Michael Espinoza, Pepper Pepper, Molly Alloy, and Andrzej Jank.
Press Release:
Sextet: Queer Pop-Up Exhibition features six Portland-based creators, exploring tactility,
materiality, and spatial embodiment across mediums such as sculpture, video, textiles,
and drawing. This curated selection brings together the works of Daniel Peabody,
Michael Espinoza, Molly Alloy, David Eckard, Pepper Pepper, and Andrzej Jank, offering a
collaborative dialogue between new works and recent experiences at various
out-of-town exhibitions. Presented as 'six queeries,' each of these artists investigate and
explore themes of belonging, collaboration, identity, and desire in a rare showcase
exclusive to Portland.
