Happy Pride! Get ready for a fantastic celebration in the Pearl District with a lineup of exciting events. And guess what? #AroundThePearl is here to give you the inside scoop! Portland, with its passion for all things Pride, gets an extra-long celebration that extends into July, culminating in a two-day extravaganza.
The theme for 2024 is "Feast & Love: Celebrating 30 Years of Pride." We are thrilled to announce that Downtown Self Storage, our Pearl Portfolio partner, is a proud sponsor of PrideNW!
It’s Parade Time!
Save the date for this year’s Pride Parade on July 20th, 2024!
The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. at the lively intersection of Burnside and Park Avenues. The parade route winds its way through the Pearl District before turning north up Broadway. Come join the fun on the final Saturday of the celebrations!
After meandering through the city, the parade eventually leads back into Tom McCall Waterfront Park for the finale, the Pride Festival, and the weekend then comes to a close. Check out the official Pride calendar of events HERE.
All events are within walking distance, and if you have friends coming into town or need a base to enjoy the Pride festivities, the Pearl has options, including the Canopy Hotel, rated “fabulous” by guests.

Pride in the Pearl: Amplifying Queer Voices All Month Long
Battle Creek Wine Cellars: June 15th: Anthony Harden, a talented queer Black artist, will captivate you with performances that span playwriting, theatre, and music.
Saturday evenings are dedicated to a different queer voice, Battle Creek Cellars is also donating a portion of the proceeds to The Human Rights Campaign, a leading organization for LGBTQIA+ equity. Make reservations on the Battle Creek website HERE
